I accepted all of the alt-right maxims I saw as a Reddit moderator, despite my Jewish upbringing in a liberal household with a tight-knit family that taught me compassion, empathy, and respect for others.Now, I\u2019m 16, and I\u2019ve been able to reflect on how I got sucked into that void\u2014and how others do, too. My brief infatuation with the alt-right has helped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My own transformation started when I switched into a new school in the middle of eighth grade<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But unlike others, I found that validation on the alt-right corners of the internet. The alt-right and the tech platforms that enable it became the community.A few weeks after I started going to my new school, I noticed that a bunch of the guys in my class were browsing a website called Reddit. I didn\u2019t understand what the site was or how it worked, but I was desperate to fit in and make a mark in my new environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, 74.2 percent of surveyed employees were engaged by their work\u2014besting last year\u2019s score of 72.1 percent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The strongest engagement scores came from companies that prioritize the most human elements of work. These companies are leading the way in employee recognition, performance management, and diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
